MV Agusta created a special edition for its F3 800 which embodies the spirit of Giacomo Agostini.
Giacomo Agostini a.k.a. Ago won its first two world champion title in 1965 (350 cc and 500 cc) on a MV Agusta. And that was just the beginning. He had the same success for the next six year, of course, on the same bike. To celebrate that, the Varese Based company launched F3 800 Ago. You can imagine that this is a limited edition which will be built in only 300 units, and each one will have Giacomo Agosinti’s autograph on the fuel tank.
But the name Ago can be seen not only in the details, but on the motorbike’s performance. It has three different pre-set power delivery modes. And if you want to configure it by yourself, you can make changes to the control parameters, including the traction control settings – 8 level.
Just like the usual F3 800, the Ago edition provides MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) through which the rider has absolute control over the setup process. You can even control the ration between throttle twist and throttle body opening.
MV Agusta F3 800 AGO is equipped with the ABS Bosch 9MP with Race Mode which provides an „anti-stoppie“ mode.
As for the chassis materials, it has the foot pegs and other items made from solid aluminum and carbon fiber fenders.
It will go on sale from May 2014 at a price of about 24.000 euros.
