Honda Africa Twin could be back in business in 2015. At least this is the last rumor spread in the press. But, for this time, things are getting serious.
The printed edition of the Motorrad magazine put on the cover of Friday 25th edition the new sketch of Honda Africa Twin and the title “New Africa Twin. Only 180kg”
We couldn’t see the article, but it is clear that the new “Africana” could share the same design features with CRF 450 Rally. Actually, the Germans said that her name would be CRF 1000 Rally and not XRV. That means that we could have an inline two cylinder engine and not the legendary V-twin.
If what journalists from Motorrad said is true, we will have a 1.000 cc enduro-adventure bike ready to go in the dirt, with a 21 front wheel, chain transmission, 180kg weight and a price of 12.000 euros. That means it has the Dakar spirit, Japanese reliability and competitive price. The bike could be presented in 2015.
