The 2015 Indian Scout was revealed in Sturgis. The legendary model will have a liquid-cooled 100hp V-Twin.
The legend is back. And it has got a liquid-cooled V-Twin, which may upset the purists. But Indian Scout looks like it’s made for the sport-orientated riders and not for the tradition lovers.
It’s got the 69 ci V-Twin (1133 cc) which develops 100 hp. Indian says it’s lightweight and maneuverable which gives the fun factor to the rider. In fact, not the heritage but the performance is the main thing emphasized by Indian.
Scout is also said to be well-balaced and with a good lean angle for high-speed cornering.
As for the styling, it has the Indian DNA. For example, the seat is similar to the one put on the bike 80 years ago (but it should be more confortable) and the bike still has „the classic triangle“ of the original Scout.
You can also add a reduced reach accesories pack, an extended reach accesory pack, a dedicated windshield, saddlebags and a passenger seat.
Indian Scout 2015 also has minimalistic fenders, black headlight, and a full of history badging. It will have a 10.999 USD base price.
The 2015 Scout was reveald just a couple of days after the Roadmaster.
