The MotoGP riders accepted the challenge. Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez duped a bucket of ice water on their heads in probably the most viral charity campaign in social Media.
We think that everybody knows already what does #als #icebucketchallenge mean. It is an activity involving dumping a bucket of ice water on head or donating money to the ALS Association in USA. The phenomenon went viral at the end of July and a lot of celebrities entered the game. They probably donated money even if they accepted the challenge, and that’s because the ALS Association received 5,5 million dollars this summer, comparing to 32.000 dollars last year.
#icebucketchallenge was launched in MotoGP by DJ Nicky Romero, which challenged Jorge Lorenzo from Movistar Yamaha. After accepting the challenge and poured the ice bucket on his head, Lorenzo named Marc Marquez, Valentino Rossi and Dani Pedrosa. Until now, only Marquez and Pedrosa accepted the challenge.
