Kawasaki Versys 1000 2015 was spotted in a so-called „spy-photo“ during some drive-tests in July. But it appears that the new Versy 1000 was „caught“ during the official photo-shooting.
Just look closely at the picture with the new Kawasaki Versys 1000. Near the handlebar you’ll see a photographer lamp. As for the pilot and the passenger, they are too well-dressed and clean in brand-new suits. The same for the bike: it’s completely clean. Considering these facts, it could be more than a simple ride-test, as the French magazine who first published the photo suggested. This could be a kind of „making of“ picture took during the official Kawasaki Versys 1000 2015 shooting. As for the photographer, there could be a connection between him and that lamp. So, let’s call it a teaser-photo.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 was spotted somewhere in Romania, so that might be the place where the presentation video was filmed.
The only element that doesn’t match our theory is the Rev’it equipment. Usually, Kawasaki uses it’s own branding.
Anyway, the bike is more important that this theory. Kawasaki Versys 1000 2015 will clearly look different. It will have a more aggressive design and another headlight. Unfortunately, we can’t observe many details from this angle.
This isn’t the first news about the 2015 Versys Range. MotorbikeOnly.com already reported at the end of August that both Kawasaki Versys 650 and Kawasaki Versys 1000 will be different in 2015. A move that Kawasaki had to made considering another two great competitors that will enter the market: BMW S 1000 XR and Yamaha TDM 2015.
