Aprilia unveiled a new Caponord 1200 version with off-road and touring features.
Since BMW has got the R 1200 GS Adventure, and KTM will launch 1290 Superadventure, Aprilia considered it’s time for a similar version of it’s Caponord.
Caponord 1200 Rally will have laced wheels (19 inch front), aluminium side-cases, a 24 litre tank, LED light, a taller windscreen and a proper crashbar.
As for the engine, it’s the same 1200 V-Twin engine capable of 128 horsepower. Aprilia Caponord 1200 Rally will also have ride-by-wire throttle control, three engine maps, traction control, cruise control, switchable ABS and dynamic suspension system.
It will be shown to the public at Intermot-Cologne, next week.
