Kawasaki Versys 1000 2015 has an aggressive completely new look but is unchanged underneath the fairings. It’s the same 1.000 cc inline four engine which makes Versys 1000 an adventure-styled sport bike.
Just like the Versys 650 2015, the big brother comes with an important aesthetic update. Period. Almost everything else is pretty much the same, but we have some new touring features and some revised elements that might be interesting.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 2015 has new adjustable windshield (75 mm range), a softer clutch (Assist&Slipper Clutch), a standard centre stand, ABS and some new accessories: side cases, a 47 liter topcase, LED fog lights, hand guards, gear indicator, etc.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 is powered by the same inline four engine we can find on the Z1000. There is nothing else to discuss here. Just to remember, it is capable of 120 horsepower at 9.000 rpm and 102 NM at 7.500 rpm.
The new sporty adventure bike is also equipped with traction control (KTRC) – Kawasaki Traction control, which has three different operating modes. At the same time, the rider can select between two different power modes – Full and Low power, for better control in every riding situation.
Kawasaki Versys 1000 has a twin-tube aluminium frame and new engine mounts for reduced order xanax bars online vibrations. The inverted fork is fully adjustable (rebound damping on the right side). The rear shock is stiffer than the one on the previous model and should offer increased stability and sustain the new curb mass (Versys 1000 2015 is heavier – 250 kg). The rear shock is also adjustable for rebound damping.
The fuel tank is larger – 21 litre, and, according to Kawasaki, should offer you a 400 km range.
