Husqvarna unveiled two new concept bikes : 401 VITPILEN & 401 SVARTPILEN. Which are, indeed, two very beautiful motorcycles which should see the production line as soon as possible.
The white one is 401 VITPILEN („White Arrow“, in Swedish). It is a modern take on the 1953 Silverpilen. It has sport handlebars, a sporty riding position and the hardware will ensure a very good street performance, says Husqvarna. In fact, we a have a new-style café racer.
Husqvarna 401 SVARTPILEN (Black Arrow) is a kind of neo-scrambler with high-positioned exhaust and mud-oriented tires. It has a more confortable riding position, less technology and is inspired by the vintage Husqvarna motorcycles, just like the dirt safe buy diazepam online bikes ridden by Steve McQueen.
Husqvarna didn’t reveal any techspecs. The only thing they said is that both 401 motorcycles will have a single-cylinder engine. Which is also confirmed by the photos. Those photos also reveal a KTM Duke 390 frame, so we should have the same 373 engine. The weight should also be somewhere beyond 150 kg, so we should have to compact and sporty bikes who will challenge Ducati Scrambler. Aesthetically, at least, because the Italian Scrambler has a double-sized engine.
We don’t have any launch date, but it is very possible to see them next year.
