MV Agusta Turismo Veloce was unveiled, in a street version, at EICMA. It is powered by the well-known three cylinder 800 cc engine and joins the adventure-inspired sport touring segment.
There will be a really interesting battle in this class. Honda VFR800X Crossrunner, Yamaha MT-09 Tracer and the brand new MV Agusta Turismo Veloce will fight for supremacy in the andventure-style sport touring segment.
MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is the most beautiful, but also the most expensive of these bikes. The motorcycle was shown last year as a prototype, and now we got the final version, which will go on sale soon.
It is powered by the 800 cc three-cylinder engine also found on Rivale and Brutale models, but detuned to make 110 hp (less) but 15% more torque than the naked models. The Italians say that they also modified the pistons, the compression rate and the electronics. As for the electronics, MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is controlled through MVCIS 2.0 which sets up the fuel injection and the safety systems. As for the fuel consumption, it is 20% less than the one set by Brutale and Rivale. The bike also has a full color TFT 5’’ display.
MV Agusta Turismo Veloce has four engine maps: Touring and Rain (90 hp available), Sport (110 hp available) and Custom (this one could be customized by every rider). As for the customization, you can change different parameters to suit your style: engine torque curve (two levels), rev limiter mode, throttle sensitivity (three levels), engine brake (two levels) and engine response (two levels).
The traction control has also got an eight level setting and could be turned off, and the quickshifter system acts both ways.

The bike presented by MV Agusta will have two versions: Turismo Veloce and Turismo Veloce Lusso. The latter has semi-active suspension system, GPS data on the TFT screen, and 30 liter side-cases.
As we said, MV Agusta Turismo Veloce is not just beautiful and high-tech, but also has a high price tag. It will be around 16.000 euros (19.000$) in the base version and 19.000 euros (27.300$) in Lusso version.
