Macau GP 2014. Rutter on provisional pole

Michael Rutter took the provisional pole for Macau Grand Prix Race. The final battle will be on Saturday.

Michael Rutter was the fastest in Thursday qualifications. The eight times Macau GP winner is on provisional pole after the opening qualifying session in Macau. The 43 year old riding a Yamaha R1 finished just 0,3 seconds ahead of Stuart Easton (PBM Kawasaki).

The third was Martin Jessop (Riders Motorcycles BMW), while Hutchinson came forth.

The Race will took place on Saturday at 15.30 – local time (7.30 GMT) and there will be 12 laps on the 6,2 km course. In Europe it will be broadcasted live by Eurosport,

Among the big boys are also John McGuiness (21 wins at Isle of Man TT, a single victory at Macau) and Michael Dunlop. Didier Grams, Roman Stamm, Nuno Caetano and Tiago Magalhaes will also join the race.

There will be 32 riders from nine countries. The best lap record was set by Stuart Easton with its Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R in 2010.
