Instead of searching for a 30 years old helmet at the antiques stores, you could check Blauer 80’s, a brand-new helmet made in Italy. It looks like Giacomo Agostini’s helmets but it’s built using modern technique and materials.
Blauer 80’s weights only 1100g and the shell is made from Dyneema/Carbon/Aramidic Fiber and Epoxy Resin. The internal mesh consist of two different layers for better shock resistance. The internal layer is removable and washable. Blauer 80’s uses a Double-D chinstrap lock system.
It costs 350 euros and comes in two different color schemes.
