A „completely new“ four-cylinder engine MV Agusta will be revealed next year. The model is based on a „new platform“ and it’s the first of a whole new fleet.
According to Giovanni Castiglioni, MV Agusta President, four of the completely new models will be revealed next year, another four in 2017 and another three motorcycles in 2018. That’s 11 motorcycles in the next three years.
Right now, the MV Agusta currently has three main platforms – two three cylinder and a four cylinder one – and every single model is based on these three engines. Mostly on the 800 cc one. The last one revealed is Turismo Veloce 800.
MV Agusta’s president also says that the company will have a 20% year growth. The announcement comes after MV Agusta signed a partnership with Mercedes AMG, which acquired 25% of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer.
