2016 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 Gets Upgraded

Harley-Davidson is starting to upgrade its 2016 models and the first motorcycle to receive the new features is the Iron 883.

Harley-Davidson Iron 883, 2016 version, has some improvements. The most important feature is the upgrated suspension. For next year, the American manufacturer integrated nitrogen in the suspension. As a result, the motorcycle is more stable and gives better feeling to the rider on bumpy roads. The new suspension system has new oil, valves with 36mm pistons, as well as compression and rebound settings.

2016 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 has been fitted with progressive rate springs for the fork, a feature available as an after market item until now. Harley-Davidson mounted triple-rate springs in the cartridge forks on the motorcycle. Now, the 2016 Iron 883 has a reduces wheel hop under strong braking.

The design of the new version has been slightly tweaked, featuring blacked-out engine and exhausts, redesigned seat that looks more comfortable and four colour schemes (Olive Gold, Hard Candy Gold Flake, Charcoal Denim and Black Denim).

2016 Harley-Davidson Iron 883 has ABS brakes and Smart Security ignition as optional while the price tag for the base model is $8,849 on the US market and €10,125 base price in Germany.
