Mercedes-Benz created an AMG inspired MV Agusta F3 800 in order to celebrate their partnership.
During the 2015 IAA International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Mercedes-Benz launched the MV Agusta F3 800 AMG Solarbeam, a motorcycle inspired by the AMG GT supercar. The new bike features AMG paint finish ‘solarbeam’ fairings. The motorcycle is an example that the partnership between Mercedes-AMG and MV Agusta will continue in the future under the joint brand claim ‘Beyond Adrenaline’.
Under the fairings, the MV Agusta F3 800 AMG Solarbeam has the same 798cc in-line three cylinder engine as a standard F3 800. The bike generates an output of 148 hp (108.8 kW) at 13,000 rpm, 88 Nm at 10,600 rpm, while having a dry weight of just 173 kg (same as the F3 675). The electronic package include eight-stage traction control, four engine maps and MV EAS (Electronically Assisted shift) to name a few.
