MV Agusta has published the first image of the upcoming 1000 Super-naked Brutale that will appear next year and benefit from a new engine and more advanced electronics. The four-cylinder will get more than 180 horsepower.
The final version of the bike will not be present at the Salon in Milan this fall. We must have patience until next spring to find out all the details. For now, we know that the future Brutale will have a new engine, 1090 cc, with distribution chain. The Cylinder bore and stroke dimensions are 79.0 × 55.0 mm and it’s stated power is over 180 hp, with a torque of 116 Nm. The design of MV Agusta belongs to Adrian Morton.
To comply with Euro5 standards, electronic injection is designed to work with ride-by-wire throttle. Regarding electronics, it will be eight different settings, selectable, depending on what the pilot wants or surface on which it runs. Of course, it will not be missing the traction control, ABS, or anti-wheeling function.
Besides the new engine, for Agusta Brutale 1000 MV, it is in testing a solution framework that is linked swingarm and subframe that supports the saddle mono arm. The rear wheel will be 190 mm standard, but it might get approved the version of 200 mm also. Lighthouse, lamps and rear turn signal are using LED.
With the upcoming 1000 Brutale, MV Agusta will get naked among the best naked motorcycles, like KTM Super Duke R, its main rival.
